SPX: Woman Of ACTION by Chris Sims, Chris Piers And Steve Downer

action2

Debuting at SPX today, Woman Of Action is basically a Black Widow-ish story with the copyrights filed off, smooshed with the British action spy genre and and David Tennant cast as romantic interest-come-brother. Based on that description alone, I can think of a fair number of male and female comics readers of my acquaintance who would buy such a title sight unseen. Oh and a Stephen Fry Jeeves to boot.

It's funny, knowing, and yes, action-packed. Art that's somewhat rough in places has some wonderful colouring to fill it out and the whole thing rocks along at a rollicking, entertaining pace.

As well as Woman Of Action, Chris Piers has another story debuting at SPX, in the new DC Conspiracy anthology, The Spoils Of Crime. More on that in a minute. But for now, hee;s the Woman Of Action cover so you know what to look for…
